The Mid-Level Panel Assembly and Wiring Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of control panel assembly, wiring, and functional testing, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to technical specifications. The role includes supervising technicians, coordinating with design and procurement teams, and maintaining timely project execution.
Lead and supervise the assembly, internal wiring, and termination of control, PLC, MCC, and VFD panels.
Interpret and guide technicians based on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Ensure compliance with international wiring standards such as IEC, UL, and CE.
Monitor wiring practices to avoid short circuits, loose terminations, or non-compliant layouts.
Conduct quality checks and support testing procedures: insulation resistance, continuity, and function tests.
Validate loop checks and signal verification for process and automation panels.
Review BOMs, material requisitions, and inventory levels for each panel project.
Coordinate with the purchase and stores team to ensure on-time availability of components.
Recommend standardization of components for repeat jobs and cost optimization.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) standards are met during assembly.
Maintain proper usage of crimping, cutting, and measuring tools and ensure tools are in calibration.
Apply 5S and lean practices in the workshop to improve efficiency and cleanliness.
Liaise with design/drafting, project engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure technical alignment.
Maintain assembly logs, testing reports, and handover documentation for internal QC or customer FAT.
Train junior technicians on panel build quality standards and safety practices.

Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
4–6 years of hands-on experience in panel building and team supervision
Strong working knowledge of PLC, MCC, VFD, relay logic, and control circuits
Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent wiring diagram software
Familiarity with panel components from Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Rittal, etc.
