As a Junior PLC Programmer, you will develop, test, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and integration of PLCs with other control and monitoring systems.
Develop and modify PLC programs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) based on project requirements.
Assist in testing, debugging, and commissioning PLC control systems.
Collaborate with SCADA/HMI teams for seamless integration.
Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for programming accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues during system operation.
Document programming logic, changes, and test results.
Support maintenance activities and system upgrades.
PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text)
Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
Understanding of control system architecture
Problem-solving and debugging skills
Compliance with safety standards in automation
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering
1–2 years of experience or relevant internships in PLC programming
Familiarity with major PLC platforms and programming environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
