We are looking for an experienced Senior Overhaul/Turnaround Supervisor – Turbines to lead major shutdown and turnaround activities related to gas and steam turbines. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership, and the ability to manage high-risk, high-value turbine overhauls in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation environments. The ideal candidate will ensure execution excellence, safety, and timely completion of turbine maintenance scopes.
Lead end-to-end turbine overhaul operations during shutdowns and turnarounds, including planning, execution, and closeout.
Oversee disassembly, inspection, repair, alignment, reassembly, and commissioning of turbines.
Act as the primary interface with OEM representatives, engineering, and client stakeholders.
Collaborate with planners, engineers, and project managers to define scope of work and schedule resources.
Review turnaround work packs, method statements, risk assessments, and logistics plans.
Identify critical path activities and implement recovery actions for schedule deviations.
Champion safety leadership on-site and ensure strict compliance with HSE standards.
Conduct audits, safety meetings, and field observations to mitigate risks.
Ensure work areas are compliant with LOTO, confined space, and high-energy safety procedures.
Manage multi-disciplinary teams including internal staff, contractors, and OEMs across various turbine models.
Assign and monitor team responsibilities and provide hands-on guidance to resolve field issues.
Lead performance evaluations, skill development, and mentoring of junior supervisors.
Ensure QA/QC requirements are strictly adhered to throughout the turbine overhaul process.
Validate critical measurements (e.g., clearances, run-outs, torqueing), and document all inspection results.
Drive resolution of NCRs, punch items, and mechanical completion activities.
Generate detailed daily and final turnaround reports, including progress tracking and variance analysis.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, replacements, and alignment data.
Participate in RCA, lessons-learned sessions, and post-shutdown reviews.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Technical Diploma with equivalent experience
OEM training and turbine-specific certifications (GE, Siemens, Alstom, etc.) highly desirable
8–12+ years of hands-on experience in turbine maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role
Proven experience managing full-cycle overhauls during shutdowns/turnarounds
Familiarity with industry standards and codes (API 616/617, ASME, OEM guidelines)
Strong leadership and decision-making in high-pressure environments
Advanced knowledge of turbine systems, alignment, diagnostics, and failure analysis
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities
Proficient with CMMS systems, MS Project, and maintenance planning tools
NEBOSH/OSHA safety leadership certifications
OEM turbine service credentials
Project Management or Turnaround Management training (TAPPI, PMP, STO best practices)
