We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance and operations team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with basic technical training in mechanical systems and a strong desire to learn and grow within the mechanical maintenance field. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical equipment such as valves, pumps, compressors, and piping systems under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers.
Assist in routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment.
Support disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of valves, pumps, and related components.
Follow detailed instructions from senior technicians or supervisors to ensure work quality and safety.
Learn to operate basic tools and equipment used in mechanical maintenance (e.g., wrenches, torque tools, alignment tools).
Safely handle and store mechanical parts and materials.
Record maintenance activities, component conditions, and observations accurately in logbooks or CMMS.
Report any irregularities, potential hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Actively participate in on-the-job training and technical workshops.
Study equipment manuals and standard operating procedures to build technical knowledge.

Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Apprenticeship or internship experience is a plus.
0–2 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or technician role (including internships).
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
Willingness to learn and follow detailed technical instructions.
Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
Ability to work well in a team and under supervision.
Basic safety training (e.g., OSHA 10, H2S awareness, confined space entry) is desirable.
First Aid and Fire Safety certification is a plus.
