We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Systems Supervisor with a focus on HVAC and Ventilation to oversee the maintenance, performance, and compliance of mechanical systems across our facilities. This mid-level role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to optimizing HVAC operations for energy efficiency, comfort, and safety.

Supervise daily operations of HVAC and ventilation systems, including chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and exhausts.
Analyze system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and comfort levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced HVAC issues with minimal downtime.
Develop and execute maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
Monitor CMMS to track service records, work orders, and maintenance KPIs.
Review maintenance procedures and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all HVAC and ventilation systems comply with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and environmental regulations.
Conduct air quality checks and maintain indoor environmental standards across all zones.
Coordinate periodic testing and calibration of sensors and controls.
Lead a team of HVAC technicians and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight.
Manage contractor/vendor performance during maintenance, installation, or shutdown activities.
Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with site procedures and permit-to-work systems.
Maintain detailed reports of system performance, downtime, maintenance activities, and energy usage.
Support internal and external facility audits, providing documentation and technical insight.
Collaborate with sustainability teams to implement HVAC energy conservation measures and system retrofits.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
4–7 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems supervision, including team or contractor oversight.
Strong understanding of HVAC principles, air distribution, chilled water systems, and building automation systems (BMS).
Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Familiar with CMMS tools and reporting protocols.
HVAC certification (e.g., EPA Universal, ASHRAE Level I/II, or equivalent).
Leadership training or supervisory experience in a technical team.
Working knowledge of energy efficiency programs (LEED, ISO 50001, or local equivalents).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
