We are seeking a competent and experienced Mid-Level Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems in an industrial or construction setting. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid technical foundation and prior field supervision experience. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring safe execution, technical accuracy, and timely completion of mechanical activities involving piping, valves, pressure vessels, and rotating/static equipment.
Supervise mechanical activities such as piping fabrication/erection, valve installation, and equipment alignment.
Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams to guide on-site work.
Ensure efficient deployment of manpower and resources across designated work fronts.
Enforce safety regulations and ensure use of PPE and safety procedures by all team members.
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and participate in safety audits.
Respond to and report near misses, incidents, and unsafe acts/conditions.
Monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance with quality standards, codes (e.g., ASME, API), and project specifications.
Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, testing (e.g., hydrotest), and punch list closure.
Support mechanical completion and handover documentation.
Develop daily and weekly work plans in coordination with construction or maintenance teams.
Coordinate with engineers, planners, and subcontractors to avoid delays and resolve technical issues.
Track progress and provide regular updates to site managers or project leads.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Technical certifications in welding, piping, or pressure systems are a plus.
3–6 years of experience in mechanical construction or maintenance supervision.
Hands-on experience in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, power, or petrochemicals.
Good understanding of piping systems, valve operations, and rotating/static equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and execute as per project specifications.
Familiarity with inspection processes and mechanical test methods.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
HSE certification (e.g., OSHA 30, NEBOSH).
API or ASME course certifications are an added advantage.
