We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Supervisor to support the supervision of mechanical operations on site. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for individuals with early-career experience or strong technical education who are eager to grow in construction or maintenance environments. You will assist in monitoring mechanical work, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring safety and quality compliance in day-to-day tasks involving piping, valves, rotating equipment, and other mechanical systems.
Assist senior supervisors in overseeing mechanical works such as piping installation, valve assembly, and equipment alignment.
Coordinate daily tasks with technicians, fitters, and subcontractors under guidance.
Track material availability and support the preparation of tools and permits for daily activities.
Ensure adherence to basic safety protocols and use of PPE on site.
Participate in toolbox talks and safety drills.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisors.
Assist with basic inspection checks and measurements as per mechanical drawings.
Help verify component installations against standards and report any discrepancies.
Support mechanical pre-commissioning and punch list clearing.
Maintain logs of daily site activities and man-hour usage.
Support documentation of mechanical test results, checklists, and minor redline updates.
Report work status to the senior supervisor or engineer.
Support daily mechanical installation and maintenance tasks
Promote safety awareness and compliance
Assist with basic inspections and documentation
Coordinate with team members to maintain progress
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships or vocational training are welcome.
0–2 years of experience in mechanical fieldwork, construction, or maintenance environments.
Exposure to industrial or oil & gas settings is an advantage.
Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and piping components.
Ability to read simple technical drawings and perform basic measurements.
Familiarity with safety and quality procedures in industrial environments.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic HSE training (e.g., OSHA 10-Hour or site-specific induction).
Technical certifications in mechanical assembly or safety are a plus.
