The Junior Mechanical Supervisor – Boiler assists in the supervision, maintenance, and inspection of boiler systems and auxiliary equipment. This role supports senior technicians in ensuring boiler operations meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards across industrial or utility settings.
Assist in daily supervision of boiler operation, shutdown, and startup procedures.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance of boilers, burners, valves, pumps, and related mechanical components.
Monitor system performance and report any irregularities to senior supervisors.
Assist in coordinating routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance protocols.
Maintain documentation of work activities, inspection checklists, and maintenance records.
Ensure safe working practices are followed during all repair and maintenance tasks.
Assist during emergency repairs and support troubleshooting efforts as directed.
Liaise with contractors or vendors under the guidance of senior staff.
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in boiler operation or maintenance (internship or apprenticeship experience acceptable).
Basic understanding of boiler systems, piping, valves, pumps, and combustion systems.
Familiarity with safety practices, mechanical drawings, and maintenance tools.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or emergency call-outs.
Basic knowledge of applicable safety codes and boiler operation standards (ASME, IBR, etc.).
Eagerness to learn and grow into a senior supervisory role.
