We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor – Turbine Section (Mid-Level) to oversee maintenance, inspection, and repair operations for gas and/or steam turbines. This role involves managing day-to-day mechanical work, supervising technicians, and ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience with turbine systems, and the ability to lead field teams efficiently.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical maintenance activities on gas and steam turbines and related auxiliaries.
Ensure correct disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of turbine components such as rotors, blades, bearings, seals, and casings.
Monitor job progress and ensure timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
Lead teams of mechanical technicians and junior supervisors during scheduled and unscheduled turbine maintenance activities.
Provide guidance, training, and technical support to less experienced staff.
Allocate manpower and resources effectively across tasks and shifts.
Collaborate with planning, operations, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with plant schedules.
Assist in developing work packages, job safety analyses (JSAs), and method statements.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Conduct tool-box talks, hazard assessments, and participate in incident investigations if required.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Submit daily reports on job status, manpower utilization, and any technical or safety concerns.
Support audit readiness and quality control processes.
Oversee turbine maintenance execution and supervision

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
OEM or industry-recognized turbine maintenance training is an advantage
4–7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Demonstrated expertise in gas or steam turbine systems (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.)
Experience with turbine outages, inspections, and realignment procedures
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, maintenance procedures, and OEM manuals
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication abilities
Skilled in identifying faults and implementing effective mechanical solutions
Good working knowledge of tools, rigging practices, and mechanical safety standards
OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications
Rigging, confined space, and turbine-specific training
