We are looking for a proactive and technically inclined Junior Mechanical Supervisor – HVAC & Chillers to support daily maintenance and operations of HVAC and chiller systems in a power plant setting. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with foundational HVAC and mechanical maintenance experience, aiming to build their leadership skills under senior guidance.
Assist in routine inspection, servicing, and minor repairs of HVAC units, chillers, cooling towers, and associated systems.
Monitor system parameters such as pressure, temperature, and fluid flow for anomalies.
Ensure proper startup/shutdown of HVAC and chiller systems under supervision.
Support senior supervisors in assigning and monitoring tasks for technicians and helpers.
Provide hands-on assistance to junior staff during maintenance and repair activities.
Maintain daily shift logs and report findings to the senior maintenance team.
Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements during maintenance operations.
Participate in toolbox talks and hazard identification exercises.
Ensure all activities are performed in line with plant and environmental safety standards.
Help maintain stock levels of HVAC and chiller-related spare parts and consumables.
Document equipment status, maintenance tasks, and report any issues to supervisors.
Assist in updating technical and safety documentation.
Participate in on-the-job training related to HVAC systems, chillers, and plant operations.
Learn to interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Build foundational knowledge in fault diagnosis and corrective maintenance.

Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related technical field
Experience:
1–3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in HVAC/chiller systems within industrial or plant settings
Skills:
Basic understanding of chillers, pumps, AHUs, and ventilation systems
Ability to assist in troubleshooting HVAC mechanical faults
Good organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with safety procedures and basic maintenance tools
