Job Title: Mechanical Service Technician
Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Support in identifying mechanical issues and performing basic troubleshooting and repairs to ensure minimal downtime in operations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, helping to identify potential issues before they affect production or equipment performance.
- Component Installation: Assist in the installation of new mechanical components and systems, following instructions and safety protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed. Report any major issues or abnormalities to senior technicians or management.
- Tool & Equipment Usage: Safely use hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other tools to perform tasks related to mechanical services.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Learning & Development: Continuously develop mechanical skills and technical knowledge through hands-on experience and training opportunities. Seek mentorship and guidance from senior technicians to improve performance.

- Mechanical Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and servicing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Participate in routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the long-term reliability of mechanical systems.
- Safety: Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and practices, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in mechanical or industrial technology is a plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in mechanical services or maintenance, or completion of relevant internship or training programs.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to follow technical instructions and learn hands-on skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assist in diagnosing and addressing mechanical issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining high standards of work quality and safety.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and report issues clearly and accurately.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., noisy, industrial settings).
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
- Mechanical or Industrial Technology certification or similar.
- Safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
