Job Title: Mechanical Service Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fresher Mechanical Service Technician to join our team and assist in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical systems and equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a background in mechanical engineering or similar fields. You will work under the supervision of experienced technicians, learning hands-on skills, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing routine service and repairs. Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair:
- Assist in servicing and repairing mechanical systems and equipment, including engines, pumps, motors, and other machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, identifying problems and working with senior technicians to implement solutions.
Installation and Setup:
- Assist in the installation and setup of new mechanical systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Help with testing new equipment to ensure that it is functioning correctly and meets safety standards.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to customers or production teams, assisting in resolving issues related to mechanical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and work in compliance with company policies and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly and ready for use.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Assist in keeping accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Prepare service reports for senior technicians and management, documenting the work performed and any issues encountered during service.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to develop skills in troubleshooting, repair techniques, and service procedures for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Work closely with senior technicians to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in the field of mechanical services.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in mechanical systems, repair technologies, and safety standards.

Vehicle Dynamics:
- Assist in analyzing and optimizing vehicle handling, stability, and ride comfort through simulation and testing.
Powertrain Systems:
- Contribute to the design and testing of powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains.
Structural Engineering:
- Design and test vehicle structures for safety, performance, and durability under various conditions.
Electronics & Electrical Systems:
- Support the integration of electronic systems, including vehicle control, infotainment, and electrical power distribution.
Thermal Systems:
- Assist in the development of thermal management systems, focusing on engine cooling and HVAC systems.
Manufacturing & Assembly:
- Participate in optimizing manufacturing processes and assembly techniques to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or individuals with less than 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, components, and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in mechanical repair and maintenance (e.g., wrenches, gauges, diagnostic tools).
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and repair techniques for mechanical systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and follow instructions to resolve them.
