The Junior Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor supports the planning, coordination, and supervision of mechanical maintenance activities. Under guidance from senior leadership, this role ensures reliable operation of mechanical assets—such as pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and piping—by overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks and mentoring a small team of technicians.
Maintenance Scheduling & Coordination
Assist in developing daily and weekly mechanical maintenance schedules in the CMMS.
Assign work orders to technicians, monitor progress, and update status in the system.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Supervise routine inspections, lubrication, belt alignments, and filter changes.
Support condition-monitoring activities (vibration checks, thermography, oil sampling) and escalate findings.
Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Lead response to mechanical breakdowns—diagnose root causes, coordinate repairs, and verify completion.
Ensure availability of critical spares; liaise with procurement for parts replacement.
Team Leadership & Training
Guide and coach 2–4 technicians on safe work practices and proper use of tools.
Conduct toolbox talks and on-the-job training on mechanical repair techniques.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce lockout-tagout, permit-to-work, and other EHS procedures.
Support safety audits and implement corrective actions for mechanical work areas.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and equipment histories.
Assist in generating weekly KPI reports (e.g., uptime, MTTR, schedule compliance).

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Maintenance or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience; supervisory or lead-hand experience preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and basic mechanical systems.
