The Junior Mechanical Engineer – Turbo Integration supports the design, development, and validation of turbocharger systems and their integration into engine platforms. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, this role assists with mechanical design tasks, prototype assembly support, test coordination, and data analysis to ensure seamless turbo system functionality and performance. This is an entry-level engineering position ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their expertise in turbo and powertrain technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and mechanical integration of turbocharger components into engine systems, including mounting, ducting, and cooling solutions.
Support prototype assembly and test activities by preparing test setups, performing basic troubleshooting, and documenting results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls, calibration, and manufacturing to ensure design requirements and production feasibility.
Review and update engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and bills of materials under supervision.
Help analyze test data related to turbo performance, pressures, temperatures, and vibrations to support validation efforts.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for integration challenges or component failures.
Maintain engineering documentation, test reports, and revision logs according to company standards.
Follow safety and quality protocols in all design and test activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field required
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in automotive or mechanical engineering, internships or co-ops preferred
Familiarity with turbocharger systems or powertrain components is a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficient with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX)
Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical systems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Comfortable with data analysis tools such as Excel or MATLAB
