We are seeking a competent and results-driven Mechanical Engineer (Mid-Level) with hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, or healthcare projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of mechanical design principles, HVAC codes and standards, and experience working in collaborative project environments. This role requires both technical proficiency and project coordination skills to deliver efficient and compliant mechanical solutions.
Design and analyze HVAC systems including air distribution, hydronic systems, exhaust, and ventilation.
Perform heating/cooling load calculations, duct sizing, chilled/hot water piping design, and psychrometric analysis.
Develop HVAC layouts, system schematics, and mechanical specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and design tools such as HAP or Trace 700.
Select and schedule HVAC equipment (AHUs, chillers, pumps, VAVs, FCUs, VRF systems, etc.) based on project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, electrical/plumbing engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure integrated design solutions.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, IECC, NFPA, and local codes).
Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration and commissioning activities.
Participate in energy analysis, sustainable design initiatives, and support LEED or green building certifications.
Perform site visits and surveys to verify existing conditions and support troubleshooting or field engineering.
Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, design reports, and client presentations.
