We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to support the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and products within our facility. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of warehouse operations who can work independently, assist with training junior team members, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.
Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or production.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Perform inventory transactions and updates using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Assist with cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and production departments to ensure material availability.
Help train and support junior material handlers.
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handling of materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Report issues with inventory, safety, or process inefficiencies to leadership.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
2–4 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems or inventory software.
Forklift certification (required or willingness to obtain).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
Knowledge of lean or 5S warehouse practices.
Basic understanding of shipping/receiving documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists).
