We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Material Handler to join our warehouse/logistics team. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting in the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
Move materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified).
Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records through labeling and documentation.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for long periods.
Basic math and reading skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
Work is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to moderate noise and varying temperatures.
May require working evenings, weekends, or overtime during peak periods.
