The Mid-Level Masonry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily masonry operations, including block work, plastering, bricklaying, tiling, and related finishing tasks on site. This role ensures that all masonry works are performed as per approved drawings, safety standards, and quality requirements. The supervisor coordinates with site teams and provides technical support to masons to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Supervise and manage masonry teams in executing blockwork, plastering, rendering, screeding, and other related works.
Read and interpret construction drawings and ensure work is executed accordingly.
Plan daily activities and allocate workforce based on work schedules and priorities.
Inspect masonry works for quality, alignment, and finish, and rectify any defects.
Ensure proper usage of materials and tools, and prevent wastage.
Enforce site safety standards and promote safe working practices among the masonry team.
Liaise with engineers, foremen, and other supervisors to ensure smooth coordination.
Monitor material stock levels and request materials as needed.
Maintain daily work progress logs and report updates to site management.
Diploma or vocational certificate in Civil Construction, or equivalent field experience.
3–5 years of experience in supervising masonry works on construction sites.
Good understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and construction practices.
Ability to read technical drawings and layout plans.
Strong team management and leadership abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication skills for coordination with site teams and subcontractors.
Basic knowledge of site safety and labor compliance standards.
Capable of handling pressure and meeting deadlines.
