Job Summary

The Senior Market Research and Insights Specialist plays a key role in shaping business strategy by providing in-depth market, customer, and competitive intelligence. This role involves leading end-to-end research initiatives, managing insight generation, forecasting industry trends, and guiding high-level business development planning. The position demands advanced analytical skills, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement across departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute complex market research projects to evaluate new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support high-value BD strategies and executive decisions

  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts, identifying threats, benchmarking best practices, and highlighting innovation gaps

  • Forecast market trends, customer needs, and commercial opportunities through statistical modeling and scenario analysis

  • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and product teams to refine positioning, pricing, and market entry strategies

  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and regular intelligence reports for internal stakeholders

  • Supervise and mentor junior analysts and research staff, ensuring high-quality output

  • Present research findings to senior management and participate in strategic planning discussions

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic insights roles

  • Advanced proficiency in research software, data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, Power BI), and CRM systems

  • Demonstrated success in delivering insights that influenced strategic business development decisions

  • Strong leadership, project management, and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly to executives

  • Deep understanding of B2B market dynamics and emerging business trends
