We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our production team. As a mid-level engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining manufacturing processes that support efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure smooth production operations.
Provide technical support for daily production issues, including troubleshooting equipment or process failures.
Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Support new product launches by developing and validating scalable and robust manufacturing processes.
Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) and pilot production runs.
Develop and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs.
Standardize work methods and implement best practices across production lines.
Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost estimations for manufacturing processes.
Monitor process performance metrics (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time) and report findings.
Collaborate with R&D, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to support production goals.
Lead and participate in Kaizen events, 5S implementation, and other Lean initiatives.
Support capital equipment selection, installation, and process commissioning.
Train operators and technicians on new or revised processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in a manufacturing/process engineering role.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and production workflows.
Experience with root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone), PFMEA, SPC, and process validation.
Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and data analysis (Excel, Minitab).
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (automotive, medical devices, electronics, etc.).
Exposure to automation, robotics, or smart factory technologies.
