The Senior Manufacturing Process Control Engineer leads the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced process control systems to maximize manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and safety. This role drives strategic improvements, leads complex troubleshooting, and mentors engineering teams to elevate process control capabilities.
Lead design and implementation of advanced control strategies (APC, MPC, etc.) for manufacturing processes.
Analyze process performance data and develop solutions to improve stability, throughput, and product quality.
Oversee root cause analysis and resolution of complex process control and instrumentation issues.
Manage process control system upgrades, commissioning, and integration projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and engineering to align process control initiatives with business goals.
Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and protocols for process control and automation.
Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers in control theory, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in process control and automation.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in process control engineering within manufacturing or process industries.
Expertise in advanced process control techniques, DCS, PLC programming, and process simulation tools.
Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Deep understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
Proven experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
