Job Summary:

The Junior Manufacturing Process Control Engineer assists in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing processes through control systems. This role supports the implementation and maintenance of process control strategies to improve product quality, efficiency, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing process control systems data to identify deviations and improvement opportunities.

  • Support development and implementation of control strategies for manufacturing processes.

  • Help troubleshoot process control issues and coordinate corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth process operations.

  • Maintain documentation of control system configurations, process changes, and performance metrics.

  • Participate in process improvement and automation projects.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all control activities.

  • Continuously learn and develop knowledge of process control techniques and manufacturing operations.


Key Focus Areas:

  1. Process Monitoring & Analysis:
    Support real-time monitoring and data analysis to maintain process stability.

  2. Control Strategy Implementation:
    Assist in deploying control loops and automation to optimize manufacturing.

  3. Troubleshooting Support:
    Help identify root causes of process variations and support solutions.

  4. Collaboration:
    Work with cross-functional teams to enhance process performance.

  5. Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records for process control systems and improvements.

  6. Continuous Learning:
    Develop skills in process control technologies and manufacturing best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in process control or manufacturing engineering preferred.

  • Basic understanding of control systems, process instrumentation, and automation.

  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.
