Manufacturing Engineer – Valve and ECS Component Fabrication

We are looking for a motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing and fabrication processes for valves and Environmental Control System (ECS) components. The role involves assisting in process development, production support, and quality assurance to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Key Focus Areas:

1. Process Support & Improvement:
   Assist in developing and optimizing fabrication processes for valves and ECS components under the guidance of senior engineers.

2. Production Assistance & Troubleshooting:
   Provide day-to-day support on the production floor, helping to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.

3. Quality Assurance:
   Support quality checks and documentation to ensure adherence to industry and customer standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting:
   Maintain accurate records of process parameters, inspections, and manufacturing data.

5. Collaboration & Learning:
   Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams while gaining hands-on experience and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and validating manufacturing processes for valve and ECS components.

• Support process monitoring and data collection for production runs.

• Help troubleshoot manufacturing issues and recommend improvements.

• Participate in quality inspections and maintain compliance documentation.

• Assist with tooling and equipment maintenance activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under senior engineer supervision.

• Learn and apply manufacturing best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

• 0-2 years of experience or internships in manufacturing or production engineering.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, and surface treatment.

• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) is a plus.

• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in basic CAD software is desirable.
