The Mid-Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for independently performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation in manufacturing or facility environments. This role requires solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including compressors, fans, motors, ductwork, and control systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Replace and repair components such as belts, bearings, valves, sensors, and wiring.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and instruments to troubleshoot system performance and control issues.
Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex maintenance challenges.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections and report potential hazards or non-compliance.
Participate in safety training and lead by example in following safe work practices.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment condition.
Communicate maintenance status and issues effectively to supervisors and team members.
Assist in updating maintenance procedures and manuals.

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Technical diploma or certification in HVAC technology or mechanical maintenance preferred
