Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Lead root cause analysis and resolution for mechanical failures or recurring issues across systems
Ensure compliance with marine regulations and standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, IMO, SOLAS, USCG) for all maintenance activities
Manage budgets, spare parts inventory, maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships
Supervise and develop maintenance teams, ensuring proper training, certification, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to align maintenance goals with operational readiness
Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation
Oversee dry dock and major overhaul planning and execution for fleet vessels (if applicable)
Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, or methods to improve mechanical system reliability and maintainability
Key Focus Areas:
Leadership and execution of mechanical system maintenance across fleet or yard assets
Compliance with marine industry safety, quality, and environmental standards
Optimization of maintenance operations, inventory control, and team management
