We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager (Mechanical Systems) to lead the mechanical maintenance operations across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of all mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, piping, HVAC, pressure vessels, and rotating equipment. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary maintenance team, driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize mechanical asset availability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Lead daily maintenance activities and oversee mechanical systems throughout the facility.
Supervise mechanical teams in inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment.
Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to maintenance best practices.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance (PM) strategy for mechanical assets.
Integrate condition monitoring and predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
Track maintenance KPIs and use data to enhance equipment reliability and minimize failures.
Manage, mentor, and develop mechanical technicians and supervisors.
Provide training to ensure competency in modern maintenance techniques and safety procedures.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Plan and execute maintenance shutdowns, turnarounds, and major overhauls.
Coordinate with operations and engineering to align maintenance schedules with production needs.
Manage contractors and service providers during planned and unplanned outages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset histories, and compliance documentation.
Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Maintenance or reliability-related certifications are a plus (CMRP, TPM, RCM, etc.).
8–12 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a heavy industrial or energy environment.
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role.
Proven expertise in maintaining pumps, rotating machinery, piping systems, valves, and HVAC equipment.
Strong understanding of mechanical system design, diagnostics, and failure analysis.
Proficiency in using CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, Oracle EAM).
Familiarity with industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, OSHA).
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
OSHA or NEBOSH Safety Certification
OEM training in rotating equipment or specialized systems
