The Senior Machine Control Engineer leads the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine control systems. This role drives technical excellence in automation projects, manages complex troubleshooting, and provides leadership and mentorship to the engineering team to ensure high reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment.
Lead design, programming, and testing of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for machine automation.
Manage the installation, commissioning, and validation of complex machine control systems.
Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex automation issues affecting production.
Develop and enforce best practices for machine control design, coding standards, and safety compliance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, production, and vendors to deliver automation solutions.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers and technicians.
Manage multiple automation projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of control system designs, changes, and troubleshooting records.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance machine control and manufacturing processes.
Technical Leadership:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in machine control engineering or industrial automation.
Expert proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI, and SCADA systems.
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
Experience with industrial networks, safety systems, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams.
Familiarity with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.
