The Junior Machine Control Engineer supports the design, installation, and maintenance of machine control systems. This role assists in programming, testing, and troubleshooting control systems to ensure efficient and reliable machine operation on the production floor.
Assist in programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and related control devices for machinery.
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of machine control systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues under supervision to minimize downtime.
Help maintain documentation for control system configurations, changes, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, and engineering.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machine automation.
Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company standards.
Control System Programming:
Assist in developing and testing PLC and HMI programs for machine automation.
Installation & Commissioning Support:
Support setting up and validating machine control systems on the production line.
Troubleshooting:
Help identify and resolve machine control issues promptly.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of control system configurations and modifications.
Collaboration & Learning:
Work with experienced engineers and technicians to grow technical skills.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all activities.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in machine control, automation, or manufacturing environments.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
