The Senior MES Integration Engineer leads the architecture, implementation, and optimization of MES solutions in manufacturing environments. This role involves designing robust MES systems, integrating them with enterprise (ERP) and shop-floor (PLC/SCADA) systems, managing technical teams, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. The position is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with deep experience in MES architecture, system integration, and digital transformation.
Lead MES integration projects from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
Architect, configure, and deploy MES systems tailored to customer processes and regulatory environments.
Interface MES with ERP, LIMS, PLC/SCADA/DCS, and other OT/IT systems using standardized protocols.
Mentor and lead technical teams, providing guidance on system design, code quality, and implementation practices.
Conduct high-level design reviews, feasibility studies, and technology evaluations for MES platforms.
Define and enforce best practices for integration, cybersecurity, data handling, and compliance.
Drive validation efforts including IQ/OQ/PQ, GAMP 5 compliance, and audit preparedness for regulated industries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: production, QA/QC, automation, and IT for successful project execution.
Troubleshoot high-impact issues, optimize performance, and propose scalable long-term solutions.
Provide strategic input to management on digital transformation and Industry 4.0 roadmap initiatives.
