The Mid-Level Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting precise field surveys, performing data analysis, and preparing documentation to support construction and engineering activities. This role involves setting out sites, verifying land boundaries, and coordinating with site teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all survey-related work.
Conduct topographic, boundary, layout, and as-built surveys for construction projects.
Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, levels, and digital theodolites.
Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to establish accurate reference points.
Assist in preparing detailed survey reports, maps, and CAD drawings.
Perform level checks, line verifications, and layout markings for excavation, foundation, and structural works.
Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to meet project requirements.
Maintain survey logs, data records, and equipment calibration.
Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in land or construction surveying.
Proficient in using total station, GPS, and auto levels.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other survey-related software.
Strong understanding of site operations and construction workflows.
Accuracy and attention to detail in field measurements and reporting.
Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage fieldwork independently and handle site challenges.
Familiarity with local land regulations and surveying standards.
