Job Title: Labor Relations Specialist (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Labor Relations Specialist (Mid-Level) to manage and resolve employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling grievances, supporting disciplinary actions, and maintaining strong relationships with employees, management, and regulatory authorities. This role is vital in creating a fair, legally compliant, and cooperative work environment across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, disputes, and grievances, ensuring timely and fair resolution.

  • Interpret and apply UAE/GCC labor laws and internal policies to guide disciplinary actions, warnings, and conflict resolution.

  • Support HR and line managers in conducting investigations, documenting incidents, and drafting disciplinary letters.

  • Collaborate with PROs, legal advisors, and government officials on labor inspections, compliance, and dispute resolution.

  • Ensure employment contracts, terminations, and renewals are legally sound and properly documented.

  • Maintain and update labor relations records, grievance logs, disciplinary tracking, and legal correspondence.

  • Assist in revising HR policies and practices to align with evolving labor laws and best practices.

  • Represent the company during labor disputes and hearings, if necessary, under guidance from senior HR or legal team.

  • Educate managers and employees on labor rights, responsibilities, and policy updates through training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, or Business Administration

  • 3–5 years of experience in labor relations or HR compliance roles

  • Solid understanding of UAE/GCC labor law and local employment regulations

  • Experience handling employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail

  • Proficient in MS Office and HR documentation systems

  • Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory
