Job Title: Labor Relations Specialist (Junior Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Labor Relations Specialist (Junior Level) to support the HR department in managing employee and labor-related matters. This role will assist in handling basic labor relations activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining positive relationships with employees, supervisors, and external authorities. The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of employment regulations and a strong commitment to promoting fair labor practices in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and updating employee documentation to ensure alignment with local labor laws and organizational policies.

  • Support in managing employee complaints and inquiries related to contracts, working conditions, and dispute resolution.

  • Help coordinate with government agencies and labor offices for official documentation, visa matters, or labor inspections.

  • Maintain records of labor-related cases, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolutions.

  • Assist in preparing labor-related reports, including attendance, contract renewals, and legal compliance checklists.

  • Support the HR team in investigations and fact-finding during employee disputes or misconduct cases.

  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws and assist in communicating updates to the HR team and employees.

  • Provide administrative support during labor audits and employee exit processes.

  • Policy alignment with UAE/GCC labor laws

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR or labor relations support (internship experience acceptable)

  • Basic understanding of labor regulations and employment law (UAE/GCC labor law knowledge is a plus)

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in task management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
