As a Mid-Level Instrumentation Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and implementing instrumentation solutions for mechanical systems such as pumps, turbines, HVAC units, and rotating equipment. You will serve as a technical advisor to clients and internal teams, ensuring that instrumentation and control components meet performance, safety, and industry compliance standards.
Design and specify field instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, and level control in mechanical systems.
Analyze project requirements and develop customized instrumentation packages.
Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals, product selections, and cost estimations.
Interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control architecture to ensure accuracy and compatibility.
Conduct technical discussions with clients, vendors, and engineering teams to finalize specifications.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
Provide post-installation support, troubleshooting, and system optimization services.
Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, and project management teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
Stay updated on industry regulations (API, IEC, ISO) and incorporate best practices in design and execution.
Instrumentation design and specification for mechanical systems

Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
3–6 years of experience in instrumentation for mechanical or industrial systems
Solid knowledge of sensors, transmitters, PLC/DCS systems, and industrial automation
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and instrumentation configuration tools
Strong project coordination and communication skills
Willingness to travel to client sites and support field execution
