The Junior Instrumentation Solutions Specialist will assist in the selection, configuration, and sales support of instrumentation and control systems used in mechanical applications such as pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background looking to grow in the field of instrumentation within mechanical industries.
Assist in preparing technical specifications and selecting appropriate instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature, etc.) for mechanical systems.
Support the sales and engineering team in preparing technical proposals and documentation.
Help conduct site visits to gather data and support field instrumentation assessments.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Assist with the calibration, testing, and installation support of instrumentation systems under supervision.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and client communications.
Learn to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control system schematics.
Provide post-sales support and assist in troubleshooting basic issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and product developments in instrumentation.
Basic understanding of field instruments for mechanical systems
Technical proposal and documentation support
Learning API, ISO, and IEC instrumentation standards
Coordination with suppliers and internal departments
On-site support for instrumentation deployment
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
0–2 years of experience in instrumentation or related mechanical support role (internship/training acceptable)
Basic knowledge of industrial sensors, transmitters, and control systems
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools is a plus
Strong communication and documentation skills
Willingness to learn and travel to industrial sites as needed
