The role supports engineering teams by ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with drafting standards, and timely delivery of project documentation across various project phases.
Prepare and revise P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, wiring layouts, and instrument location plans.
Interpret engineering markups and convert them into precise AutoCAD/SmartPlant drawings following project standards.
Ensure correct representation of instruments, control systems, interconnections, and field wiring across drawings.
Maintain consistent tagging, symbol conventions, and line representations per ISA or client-specific standards.
Coordinate with electrical, process, and mechanical teams to reflect accurate I/O mappings and inter-discipline integration.
Review and verify instrument loop data against I/O lists, datasheets, and panel drawings.
Support field and construction teams by providing drawing clarification and as-built documentation.
Manage document revisions, version control, and archiving as per document control procedures.
Communicate with vendors or OEMs for integration of packaged systems and instrument skid drawings.
