We are seeking an experienced and capable Senior Installation and Commissioning Supervisor to lead and manage the execution of complex installation and commissioning scopes across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. The role requires a proactive leader who ensures safety, quality, and schedule compliance while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and vendors at all project stages.
Oversee end-to-end installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of process and utility systems (valves, pumps, piping, instruments, electrical panels, control systems)
Manage site teams, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
Interpret project drawings, specifications, and control philosophies to guide execution teams
Lead the preparation and execution of commissioning plans, ITPs, and checklists
Supervise activities such as flushing, pressure testing, electrical energization, loop checking, and interlock verification
Validate system integrity, functionality, and safe startup protocols per client and regulatory requirements
Enforce HSE policies and procedures including work permits, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and hot work practices
Promote a safety-first culture and lead toolbox talks and incident reviews
Ensure safe execution of commissioning activities with proper risk assessments
Represent the company in client meetings, inspections, and technical reviews
Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and punch list management
Approve and maintain all installation and commissioning documentation including redlines, as-builts, test reports, and handover packages
Lead multi-disciplinary site teams through the installation and commissioning life cycle
Coordinate closely with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and operations teams to ensure technical alignment
Proactively resolve site execution challenges, technical conflicts, or equipment readiness issues
Track and report progress, manpower, and system readiness to project leadership
Ensure seamless transition from construction to commissioning and into operations
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering
7–12+ years of field experience in installation and commissioning of industrial systems
Strong track record supervising EPC/EPCM projects in Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Chemicals, or Heavy Industry
Deep understanding of P&IDs, wiring diagrams, installation standards, control logic, and commissioning protocols
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams
Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making under pressure, and technical documentation
Familiar with industrial codes and standards (API, IEC, ISO, OSHA) and HSE compliance
Proficiency in using test instruments, commissioning software, and reporting tools
Certification in Project Management, Safety (NEBOSH/OSHA), or Commissioning (ICCP/ASTAR)
Vendor/OEM training in equipment commissioning (e.g., valves, PLC/DCS systems, pumps, actuators)
Experience with startup and commissioning management systems (CMS)
Full-time on-site; may include remote project locations, offshore, or overseas
Involves long hours, night/weekend shifts during critical phases
Exposure to industrial environments (noise, pressure systems, electrical equipment)
Strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols at all times
