We are seeking a Junior Installation and Commissioning Supervisor to support the supervision and coordination of field installation and commissioning activities. This role is ideal for a technically inclined individual looking to gain field experience and grow into a lead supervisory role over time. The candidate will work closely with technicians, contractors, and engineers to ensure proper installation, testing, and start-up of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
Assist in supervising installation of mechanical and electrical equipment as per layout drawings and technical specifications
Monitor contractor work progress, site readiness, and adherence to safety and quality standards
Support alignment, fitting, and mounting of equipment (e.g., valves, pumps, panels, skids, control systems)
Help execute pre-commissioning and commissioning checklists (mechanical, electrical, I&C)
Observe functional testing, signal checking, and dry/wet runs of equipment
Support energization activities under supervision of senior engineers
Coordinate daily activities with site team, contractors, and vendors
Participate in toolbox talks and ensure safety protocols are followed
Report unsafe practices, near misses, and assist in implementing corrective actions
Maintain site logs, daily progress reports, and inspection checklists
Record as-built information and update redline drawings where required
Prepare preliminary punch lists and track rectification status
Assist in supervision of installation and commissioning work on assigned systems
Provide support during FAT, SAT, and handover activities
Liaise with QA/QC team to verify inspections and testing compliance
Escalate issues or delays to senior site personnel in a timely manner
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
0–2 years of relevant site experience (internships or field training preferred)
Basic knowledge of construction, electrical, or instrumentation drawings
Familiarity with commissioning processes and tools (added advantage)
Strong observational and reporting abilities
Basic technical understanding of industrial systems or plant equipment
Ability to read layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and loop sheets
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work in remote/site locations under field conditions
Exposure to construction or commissioning in oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing sectors
Awareness of HSE practices and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Familiarity with tools like multimeters, torque wrenches, or basic calibrators
100% site-based (construction/industrial environment)
May involve shift work, weekend work, and extended hours during start-up
PPE and compliance with safety regulations are mandatory
Exposure to weather, noise, and industrial machinery
