The Junior I&C Supervisor supports supervision of instrumentation and control systems in plant operations. This role assists in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining control equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant processes.
Assist in supervising daily operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in the plant.
Monitor PLCs, field instruments, control valves, and safety systems for proper functioning.
Support troubleshooting and quick resolution of control system faults.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance.
Help enforce safety and operational procedures within plant operations.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of system status, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Assist in training operators and technicians on basic instrumentation and control system usage.
System Monitoring:
Support monitoring of I&C systems to maintain plant process stability and safety.
Troubleshooting Assistance:
Help identify and resolve instrumentation and control issues efficiently.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational protocols.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
Documentation:
Maintain records related to system performance and maintenance activities.
Skill Development:
Learn and grow technical capabilities in instrumentation and control systems.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
0-2 years of experience in instrumentation and control or plant operations support.
Basic knowledge of PLCs, control valves, sensors, and industrial instrumentation.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and develop in instrumentation and control supervision.
