Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Junior Hydraulic Valve Design Engineer to support the development, design, and validation of hydraulic valve components and assemblies used in mobile equipment, industrial systems, and fluid power applications. The role involves assisting in 3D modeling, performance simulations, prototype evaluation, and design documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of hydraulic valves (directional, pressure control, flow control, proportional).

  • Create and update CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA.

  • Support design calculations and simulations related to flow, pressure drop, material stress, and thermal behavior.

  • Participate in prototype builds, bench testing, and basic failure analysis under supervision.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, testing, sourcing) to ensure design manufacturability and performance.

  • Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and change records in PLM systems.

  • Assist in benchmarking and researching new technologies and materials in hydraulic valve design.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Hydraulic Valve Design (directional, pressure, flow)

  • 3D CAD Modeling & Engineering Drawings

  • Fluid Dynamics & Mechanical Calculations

  • Prototyping and Test Support

  • Design Documentation & BOM Management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
