Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues using advanced diagnostic tools and HVAC logic.
Ensure uninterrupted HVAC performance for critical zones (e.g., control rooms, battery rooms, MCCs, server/data closets).
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Leadership
Oversee execution of preventive maintenance schedules, system calibrations, and inspections for rotating and static HVAC equipment.
Apply predictive techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, refrigerant monitoring) to identify issues before failure.
Ensure all maintenance tasks follow OEM specifications and internal standards.
System Optimization & Energy Efficiency
Collaborate with engineers and controls teams to optimize HVAC system operation via VFD tuning, airflow balancing, and adaptive setpoints.
Provide input on energy-saving projects and assist with commissioning of retrofitted or upgraded HVAC assets.
Identify and implement HVAC reliability and energy efficiency improvements.
Project & Team Leadership
Lead field execution of HVAC upgrades, shutdowns, and overhauls.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians, assign daily tasks, and ensure safe and efficient execution.
Interface with contractors and vendors during HVAC installations, retrofits, or inspections.
Safety & Compliance Management
Enforce strict adherence to LOTO, confined space, hot work, and PPE protocols.
Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards, SMACNA guidelines, OSHA regulations, and refrigerant handling laws.
Participate in and support audits, EHS inspections, and risk assessments related to HVAC systems.
Documentation & Technical Reporting
Maintain high-quality documentation, including equipment history, service reports, refrigerant logs, and root cause analyses.
Update CMMS entries and contribute to the preparation of reliability or incident investigation reports.
Support drawing revisions, HVAC schematics, and operational procedure updates after modifications.
Lead HVAC system diagnostics and maintenance across critical plant infrastructure
Mentor and guide technical staff while ensuring high safety and performance standards
