We are seeking a dependable and experienced Mid-Level HVAC Technician to manage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems in a food processing environment. The technician will ensure consistent climate control, ventilation, and air quality to support production hygiene, food safety, and energy efficiency standards.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in HVAC systems and a strong understanding of maintenance practices in regulated, high-cleanliness environments.
Operate and monitor AHUs, ventilation systems, exhaust systems, and chillers.
Maintain temperature, humidity, and air pressure within set limits across processing zones.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure optimal operation of equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC components such as filters, coils, blowers, belts, dampers, and control panels.
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to airflow imbalance, motor faults, electrical connections, and sensor failures.
Assist in overhauls and equipment upgrades as required.
Ensure all HVAC work aligns with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Maintain hygiene practices when working near or in production areas.
Participate in temperature mapping, airflow validation, and air quality testing.
Maintain accurate records of service logs, temperature readings, fault reports, and work orders.
Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for task tracking and documentation.
Assist with audit preparations and provide data as required by QA or regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with production, QA, and utilities teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance.
Supervise junior technicians during basic repairs or PM tasks.
Report material or spare part needs to the supervisor.

ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration.
3–6 years of hands-on experience in HVAC operations, preferably in the food, pharma, or FMCG industry.
Solid understanding of HVAC system components, control logic, and airflow management.
Familiarity with cleanroom or hygiene zone HVAC setups.
Experience working with chilled water systems, air balancing, and BMS (Building Management System).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, SOPs, and P&IDs.
Strong safety, hygiene, and documentation practices.
