The Junior HVAC Technician – Assembly Line assists in the assembly, testing, and basic maintenance of HVAC equipment on a manufacturing production line. This entry-level role focuses on learning HVAC components, assembly processes, and quality standards while supporting skilled technicians and production supervisors to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
Assist in assembling HVAC units such as air handlers, heat pumps, chillers, and ventilation components according to specifications and work instructions.
Perform basic wiring, component installation, and mechanical assembly tasks under supervision.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments safely and accurately.
Conduct initial visual inspections of assembled units to identify defects or missing components.
Report quality issues or assembly discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Support final product testing activities by preparing units and documenting test results.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in safety training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
Maintain accurate assembly records and production logs as directed.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure smooth production flow.

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Technical training or certification in HVAC or mechanical assembly is a plus

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
Willingness to learn and take direction
