We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and reliability of HVAC systems that support plant mechanical infrastructure. This mid-level position plays a key role in coordinating technicians, maintaining operational standards, and implementing energy-efficient solutions. The ideal candidate brings solid HVAC knowledge, supervisory experience, and a commitment to plant reliability and safety.
Supervise the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, compressors, ventilation units, and ducting systems.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and system efficiency.
Diagnose and resolve moderate-to-complex HVAC mechanical and control issues.
Lead HVAC maintenance crews, assign daily tasks, and monitor work quality and compliance.
Train and mentor junior technicians and support personnel in technical and safety procedures.
Conduct performance evaluations and promote continuous improvement in team operations.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work complies with plant safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and participate in incident investigations.
Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, SMACNA, and relevant industry standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of HVAC upgrades, retrofits, and system optimizations.
Collaborate with engineering and capital projects teams during HVAC equipment installations or replacements.
Review and contribute to technical specifications for HVAC systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and operational logs.
Monitor HVAC inventory and initiate procurement requests for spare parts and consumables.
Generate regular reports on system performance, downtime, and corrective actions taken.

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field
Experience:
4–7 years of experience in HVAC system maintenance, preferably in industrial or power plant settings
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role
Skills:
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, BMS, and ventilation systems
Ability to read technical drawings and control schematics
Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing HVAC performance
Effective leadership, communication, and documentation skills
Familiarity with CMMS or digital maintenance systems
