Job Title: Junior HVAC Supervisor – Plant Mechanical Systems

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior HVAC Supervisor to support the supervision and maintenance of HVAC systems critical to plant operations. This entry-level leadership role is ideal for individuals with foundational HVAC experience who are eager to develop their supervisory skills while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems in a power plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC System Supervision:

• Assist in overseeing the operation and routine maintenance of HVAC units, air handling systems, ventilation ducts, and mechanical components across plant buildings.

• Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting minor HVAC-related issues.

• Ensure that preventive maintenance tasks are carried out on schedule under senior supervision.

Team Support & Coordination:

• Support senior supervisors in coordinating daily tasks for HVAC technicians and maintenance workers.

• Provide basic technical guidance and ensure that tasks are executed according to safety protocols.

• Maintain shift logs, records, and daily task completion checklists.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure safe working practices during HVAC maintenance and operations.

• Enforce the use of proper PPE and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.

• Assist in supporting safety inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness drills.

Reporting & Inventory:

• Help monitor HVAC spare parts inventory and notify seniors of low stock or procurement needs.

• Document maintenance activities, downtime, and corrective actions in logs or digital systems.

• Assist in preparing reports for supervisors and maintenance planning teams.

Skill Development & Learning:

• Participate in on-the-job training and workshops to enhance HVAC technical and supervisory skills.

• Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to HVAC systems in power plants.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related technical field

Experience:

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance or mechanical plant systems

• Familiarity with HVAC system components such as chillers, AHUs, ductwork, and control systems

Skills:

• Basic understanding of HVAC operations and preventive maintenance practices

• Ability to read mechanical schematics and equipment manuals

• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
