The Junior HVAC Module Assembly Supervisor supports day-to-day operations on the production floor related to the assembly of automotive HVAC modules. Working under the guidance of senior supervisors, this role helps coordinate personnel, monitor assembly line activities, ensure quality compliance, and maintain safety standards. The junior supervisor is hands-on with production support, learns key processes, and develops foundational leadership skills in preparation for greater responsibilities in HVAC module manufacturing and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising HVAC module assembly line operations, ensuring adherence to standard work instructions and daily production targets.
Monitor quality checkpoints and perform basic inspections to confirm correct installation of blowers, evaporators, heater cores, actuators, and ducting components.
Support troubleshooting of minor assembly issues and escalate concerns to senior supervisors or engineering.
Coordinate with materials and logistics teams to ensure part availability and line readiness.
Reinforce safety policies and conduct basic audits to promote a safe working environment.
Maintain clear and timely communication with line operators and support teams.
Record basic production data and assist in reporting performance metrics and downtime causes.
Support training of new operators on assembly techniques, tools, and process flow.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience in a production or technician role will be considered
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing assembly, preferably in automotive HVAC or related systems
Experience as a team lead or line coordinator is a plus
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with HVAC components and basic assembly tools (torque tools, sealants, fasteners)
Ability to read assembly drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Basic understanding of quality inspection and safety practices in manufacturing
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and take initiative in a production setting
Detail-oriented and organized under fast-paced conditions
