We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Junior HVAC Maintenance Supervisor to support HVAC operations within a food manufacturing or storage facility. The role involves supervising routine maintenance activities, ensuring optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and temperature control requirements.
This position is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of HVAC systems who are ready to step into a leadership support role and grow within a regulated, high-standard food environment.
Assist in supervising the operation of HVAC systems including air handling units (AHUs), exhaust fans, ventilation systems, and room temperature controls.
Ensure consistent environmental conditions in food production, processing, and storage areas.
Support the execution of preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment.
Perform or supervise basic servicing activities (filter replacement, coil cleaning, lubrication).
Assist with fault identification and basic troubleshooting under senior supervision.
Ensure HVAC systems meet food safety and hygiene requirements, including filtration, airflow, and temperature standards.
Maintain cleanliness around HVAC equipment and ducting systems.
Follow and enforce SOPs aligned with HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory guidelines.
Oversee small teams of technicians or helpers on shifts, ensuring work quality and safety.
Coordinate with external service providers for routine or emergency maintenance tasks.
Record maintenance logs, temperature readings, service reports, and checklist updates.
Escalate recurring issues or potential risks to senior supervisors for further analysis.

ITI, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Refrigeration Technology.
1–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance; experience in food, pharma, or cold storage facilities preferred.
Basic knowledge of HVAC components such as AHUs, compressors, evaporators, and control systems.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or FSSAI standards is a plus.
Strong observational and diagnostic skills for HVAC systems.
Good organizational and communication abilities.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work in temperature-controlled or humid environments.
Willingness to work on rotating shifts or during off-hours for urgent repairs.
