The HVAC Engineering Manager leads the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HVAC systems within water treatment facilities. This role manages the HVAC engineering team, ensuring reliable, efficient, and code-compliant HVAC systems that support plant processes, personnel comfort, and regulatory requirements. The manager drives projects related to HVAC system upgrades, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance programs.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC engineers and technicians.
Assign and prioritize engineering tasks, oversee daily work, and ensure team adherence to quality and safety standards.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee HVAC system design, upgrades, and troubleshooting in water treatment facilities.
Review and approve HVAC engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and coordination with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field (required)
Professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or ASHRAE certification are a plus
Experience:
7+ years in HVAC engineering or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Experience in water treatment, industrial, or utility environments preferred
Proven project management and team leadership skills
