The Junior HVAC Controls & Actuator Engineer supports the design, development, and testing of control systems and actuators used in automotive HVAC applications. This role assists in programming, calibrating, and validating control algorithms for HVAC actuators such as blend doors, recirculation flaps, and compressors. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the junior engineer gains hands-on experience with embedded systems, sensor integration, and control strategies to ensure optimal climate control performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and calibration of HVAC control algorithms for actuators including blend doors, flap motors, and compressors.
Support the integration and testing of sensors, actuators, and control modules in lab and vehicle environments.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of control systems to improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to support system development.
Maintain accurate documentation of control strategies, test results, and software revisions.
Participate in validation testing and data analysis to verify control system behavior.
Stay updated on HVAC control technologies, embedded systems, and actuator hardware developments.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field required
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in control systems, embedded software, or automotive HVAC (internships or project work considered)
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of control theory, sensors, and actuators
Familiarity with embedded software development and calibration tools a plus
Knowledge of automotive HVAC systems preferred
