Job Title: HR Technology / HRIS Specialist (Senior Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Technology / HRIS Specialist (Senior Level) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of HR systems and digital tools that support enterprise-wide HR initiatives. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making, enhancing system efficiency, and ensuring technological alignment with HR and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will act as the primary architect of HR system strategies, providing leadership in vendor management, system integration, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of HRIS platforms, including system architecture, upgrades, module configuration, and integration with other business systems.

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to align system capabilities with workforce strategy, policy changes, and compliance requirements.

  • Drive HR digital transformation projects, including process automation, AI-enabled features, and new system implementations.

  • Design and deliver comprehensive dashboards, analytics reports, and data insights to support strategic HR decisions.

  • Ensure system data accuracy, user access security, audit readiness, and compliance with local labor laws and data privacy regulations.

  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee performance for third-party HR technology providers.

  • Oversee user training, adoption, and change management efforts across departments and regions.

  • Act as a subject-matter expert on HR system best practices, guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Monitor emerging HR technology trends and recommend innovative tools to enhance HR capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS or HR technology roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

  • Expert-level experience in major HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP)

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, workforce planning, payroll, performance management, and organizational development

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale HR system projects and system integrations

  • Proficiency in reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and experience with automation or API-based systems

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills

  • Knowledge of data protection, system audit standards, and labor law compliance (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
