We are looking for a knowledgeable and dependable Senior Construction Helper to support our construction team with skilled labor and leadership on-site. This role is suited for someone with significant experience in general construction who can work independently, assist in supervising junior workers, and contribute to maintaining a safe, productive work environment.
Perform a wide range of advanced construction support tasks with minimal supervision.
Assist with the setup and execution of complex construction activities.
Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including heavy-duty power tools.
Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications as needed.
Supervise and guide junior and mid-level helpers on tasks and safety procedures.
Ensure work areas are maintained according to safety standards.
Coordinate with tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) to support project progress.
Monitor material inventory and report shortages or equipment issues to site supervisors.
Assist with minor repairs, installations, and adjustments across trades.
3+ years of hands-on experience in construction or skilled trades.
Strong understanding of construction safety, materials, tools, and methods.
Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions with minimal oversight.
Demonstrated leadership in managing helpers or small teams on job sites.
Physical stamina to handle demanding labor in various conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred or required depending on site).
